Dr. Yash Paul Soni (MBA, UK; PhD, USA) is an international entrepreneur, investor and author with a multi-decade track record spanning retail, international import/export and trade finance, garment manufacturing, property investment, and specialist healthcare.
Background and Experience
Beginning in the 1970s, he owned a number of retail shops on Regent Street, London, which led to the expansion of retail products through international import/export. As the business grew through the 1980s, he built deep expertise in international trade finance and later diversified from wholesaling into garment manufacturing, establishing a sizeable production facility in Bahrain.
In the 1990s, Dr. Soni relocated apparel manufacturing to Dubai, where the business scaled rapidly. During this period he also invested in property and converted sites into specialist nursing and learning-disability nursing homes, securing long-term block contracts.
He later returned to the UK and USA after more than a decade in Dubai, splitting his time between London and Orlando, and helped spearhead the expansion of a UK care home portfolio.
Personal interests
Beyond business, Dr. Soni is a committed philanthropist and passionate golfer. In 2005 he founded the annual Yash International Charity Golf Day in support of Cancer Research UK.
